As at 3pm today (Friday 8th) the West Midlands Young Athletes XC is still due to go ahead as planned. However, the weather forecast is pretty awful so this may change. Please check the WMYACCL website for updates

Birmingham League Division 1 – 2 December
There were fantastic individual and team performances at the 2nd men’s XC race at Trentham last Saturday. Shaun Evans had an AWESOME run to finish in 2nd place overall – we’d love to know if any of our RSCAC runners have ever had a higher finish in Division 1! Great runs by Joe Spruce (62nd), Alex Jones (78th), Barry Lloyd (89th), Tom Parkes (98th) and Ashley Powell (128th) saw the A team finish 9th. The B team was 12th in the B league race.

Birmingham XC League Div 1 – 11 November

A big thank you to all those who ran on Saturday at Cheltenham. The A team finished 13th out of 16 teams which puts us just above the relegation zone, not bad considering we were missing a number of regular A team counters. Well done to our x/c debutants Barry, Valentin and Ashley who all scored in the A team – something to live up to now lads (except for Valentin who will be leaving the UK this week to return to France – Thank you and all the best for the future, we hope you have some happy memories of RSCAC and English cross country to take home with you).
An even bigger thank you to Bob Owen who acted as our “Official” for the day, saving a penalty of 200 points had we not provided our “finish funnel” official.
The 2nd fixture is on Saturday 2nd December at Park Hall Country Park, Hulme Road, Weston Coyney, Stoke-on-Trent (post code for SAT-NAV ST3 5AX). Please let Steve know if you are planning to compete.
