Well done to Steve Marklew and Mark Bridges who spent last weekend running the length of Hadrian’s Wall. Steve completed the 70 mile run in just over 15 hours, whilst Mark completed the two day team challenge in just over 11 hours. Suddenly that track session doesn’t seem so hard after all!

Please please please do not go to Tipton tomorrow. They have had to cancel the meeting as their starter has fallen ill and they can’t find a replacement. Please spread the word. It will hopefully be rearranged for later in the summer.

Well done team RSCAC. We finished second in today’s meeting thanks to everyone’s hard work. We snatched second place by 2 points, proving that every point gained is well and truly vital.

Very well done to all who took part.

Check out Donald Brown’s latest sculpture to mark the London Olympics. This work has meant that Donald has been nominated for the 2013 Cultural Artist Award and he will be going to Atlanta, USA to receive it in April. Well done Donald. Congratulations to Mollie Darrock, Chase Hansle, Michael Iwanowicz and Chrissie Prince who represented Birmingham in the Regional Sportshall Final at the weekend. The Birmingham team won EVERY age group. What a result. Well done.

Our Induction Group for 7 – 9 year olds starts back on Tues 22nd Jan, 5 – 6pm. Anyone who’s interested should get to the clubhouse with their child at 5pm on Tuesday 22nd Jan. It’s £1 a session which you pay in the clubhouse before the session starts.

Merry Christmas!

 Just to say that during the school holidays, the junior groups are training 10 till midday on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (with no session on Christmas Day and New Years Day).  If you have been told something different by your coach then obviously turn up at the times they’ve told you! But for any parents who aren’t sure, if you bring your child to train at 10am on Tue, Thurs or Sunday, there will be someone to coach them.
