club connect relays at British Champs
Well done to our under 13 and under 15 mixed relay teams who represented the club in style earlier as they opened the event. The under 13s were 3rd and the under 15 we think were 4th – it was very close! The teams are in action again in an agility challenge at two. Pop down to the alexander stadium to see them in action if you can x

Just in case anyone is unsure…
The lower age group YDL on Saturday (31 May) is at Stoke.
The upper age group YDL on Sunday (1st June) is at Nuneaton (not Tipton.)
And the senior league on Sat 7th June is at Worcester (not Tipton.) (This will be on version 6 of the fixtures list which will be updated shortly.)
Thanks.

No sprints group training with Tony and Meg today
Sorry but there is no sprints group training today because Tony and Meg are at a competition for the Under 17 and Under 20 athletes – Good luck to those who are competing.
Easter training for 5 – 6 pm Thursday group
The 5 – 6 pm induction group on Thursdays (for 7 – 9 year olds) will have a three week break for Easter, returning on Thursday 8th May.
Well done Mollie Darrock
Well done to Mollie Darrock, who was the club’s sole competitor at the UK Sportshall Final on Sunday. She helped the Birmingham team to a second place finish overall, which is a great achievement. Well done!
QUIZ NIGHT
There will be a RSCAC quiz on Friday 28th March, 7pm for a 7.30pm start at the Goldieslie Road bowling club. (This is the road that is opposite Sutton Girls’ School. The bowling club is at the other end of the road to the Sutton Girls’ School.) 4 people per team if possible. It is £4 a ticket, which includes crisps and a sandwich. Tickets available from the coffee bar on Tues and Thurs 6 – 8pm.
Officials needed
Are any parents/carers/grandparents/older brothers and sisters able to help out the club by officiating this summer? At every athletics meeting we have to provide timekeepers, track judges and field judges. We loose points if we do not have enough officials. If you are at events with your children anyway, it is a good way to keep yourself occupied as well as help out the club.
If you are keen, you need to decide if you want to do field judging, track judging or timekeeping. There is a course you can go on at the Aldersley Leisure Centre om 29.03.14. Any interested people should email rscac@hotmail.co.uk or speak to Meg Evans at the club.

I NOW HAVE ONE WILLING PARENT. (Thank you Nigel.) WOULD ANYONE ELSE BE ABLE TO JOIN HIM?!
