First Aid Course Completed

A busy week with AGM last night and first aid course tonight, but tonight’s first aid session was well worth rushing from work for. An extremely beneficial evening for RSCAC coaches. Thanks to John from St John’s for delivering an excellent course.

Club Connect Relay Stars

2 relay teams from RSCAC (Under 13 boys and Under 15 boys) were at the Muller Grand Prix at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on Sunday, competing against the best in the country. It was a fantastic experience to compete at the same event as Adam Gemili, Dina Asher-Smith and KJT!relayu13boysu15s

Open Track and Field Competitions

If you’d like some extra competitions over the summer, here are a list of local(ish) open competitions.  You enter yourself and compete purely for times / distances instead of also gaining points for the club.  In some cases there are closing dates meaning you have to enter one or two weeks beforehand, so make sure you explore each one carefully. Good luck! If you know of any others that haven’t been included on the list, please let us know.

If you wish to travel further to compete, a full list of competitions cane be found on the Power of 10 website: https://www.thepowerof10.info/fixtures/fixtureslookup.aspx
