Last Saturday, 4 RSCAC athletes represented Team Birmingham in the Regional Sportshall Final. Charlotte, Daniel, Isabel and Rhianna all performed amazingly. Their performances led to the Under 13 Girls finishing second overall and the Under 13 Boys finished as overall champions!
The victory for the Under 13 Boys means that Daniel will go to Manchester next month to compete in the National Sportshall Final. Good luck Daniel!

Massive news for Royal Sutton…
On Saturday 18th February our U15 boys team were Club Connect relay WINNERS at the Barclaycard Arena in the Birmingham Grand Prix. It was a thrilling 4 x 200m relay race with a very close finish. We are extremely proud of Daniel, Matthew, Connor and Joe, who won £250 prize money for the club. (Photo below.)
Our other relay teams were out in force too. The U13 girls of Izzy, Zara, Charlotte and Caitlin finished in second. The U13 boys of Aaron, Zak, Oliver and Praise were 5th. The U15 girls team finished 6th (Jess, Charlotte, Lucy and Elsa). The U17 girls team of Jenny, Emma, Rachel and Caitlin were 5th, as were the U17 boys (Cameron, Sam, James and Ben). Well done everyone!

Congratulations to Team Birmingham who won the ‘Under 11 Fun In Athletics’ Regional Sportshall Final today. 6 RSCAC Under 11s were part of the victorious team. Very well done to: Cameron, Charlotte, Joshua, Harrison N, Harrison S and Scott.
Would you be able to help the club out by officiating at some club events? We need some parents/ carers/ willing supporters to help out with raking pits, measuring throws and jumps and positioning athletes at the end of races. If you think you would be able to help the club out at a few competitions in the summer, it would be great if you could go on an officiating course. Details of dates and venues can be found here: http://www.englandathletics.org/courses.aspx?siteSectionId=33&postCode=Postcode&distance=5®ion=000100010002001400030003&keyword=&courseType=0001300000030013&page=2
We get valuable points for all the officials we provide at each meeting.
The club will pay for you to do the course.
If you would like to discuss this further, please go to the coffee bar any Tuesday or Thursday and ask to speak to Ernie, Katie or Meg.
We now have all the league dates for the summer. Get them in your diaries pronto! Pay special attention to the meetings that are to be held at Wyndley as we will need extra support at these. (28th May, 19 July and 5th Aug.)
