Race 3 Wolverhampton and Bilston 5th December
Some great performances from RSCAC athlete in the last league race with several top 10 performances on the day. In the under 17 girls Bethan Homer came 5th in a very competitive race and Sian Duval was 8th. This enabled the girls to be positioned first team on the day.
Yuvan Sidhu was the first athlete back in the under 11 boys in 9th position. Supported by other strong performances enabling the team to be positioned 2nd overall.
There were 2 top 5 performances from Ethan Patel in 2nd and George O Connor in 5th, supported by George Hope just outside the top 10 resulting in RSCAC being positioned 1st overall on the day.
Sophia Potocka was 7th in the under 11 girls with the team achieving 2nd position in a very competitive race.
Under 15 boys were led home by Isacc Cartwright (23rd), closely followed by Will Stead. Under 13 girls were overall 2nd on the day being led back by Willow McCarthy-Brown (12th) just outside the top 10.
Noah Homer has a fantastic run in 1st place supported by Kody Gilbody running second claim for the club in 5th place.
Under 15 girls were led home by Francesca Allen just outside the top 10 in 13th position.
Overall, the club achieved 2nd team on the day behind Rugby & Northampton AC. We currently are positioned 2nd across all three events so far.
The next league race is being hosted jointly by RSCAC and Birchfield on the 16th of January at Walsall Arboretum. We are hoping for a fantastic turn out at our local event and plenty of support from our wider running community to shout on our athletes.
