Due to the track being closed (because of ice), teh following groups are cancelled tonight:

• Andy/Tony’s group
• Ann/Caroline/Dave/Meg/Robin’s group

Joe’s group is training at Alexander Stadium.

Other groups are meeting in the clubhouse as usual.

Just to let everyone know the taster group has been cancelled tonight due to track conditions.

After going AWOL for a while, Flickr photos are back: just click on the icon next to the Facebook icon on the club’s homepage, and on Flickr you will find photos in high res which you can download…for free!

Over the Christmas period training will vary from the usual, some have a break, some take advantage of the time off work and school and move training to day time to use the park. Each group has it’s own plan, this is a summary, please note though, if you hear different directly from your coach – go with that! And for those sessions that are on the track, we are dependant on Wyndley keeping it open, so if the weather is looking iffy – check the website, or social media for any updates.

On Saturday 10th Dec at the 2022 Warwickshire Cross Country Championships, hosted at Welkin Farm , a beautiful location near Rugby, the U17 men became the new Warwickshire Cross Country Champions winning the PJ Evans trophy, a competition first held in 1959.

On a cold, partly frozen 6km course, the Under 17’s boys produced a great team and individual performances to end the year. In a joint race with Worcestershire, the team posted 5th, 10th and 15th places overall but finished in 3rd, 8th and 12th places for Warwickshire, with Nick finishing in 3rd place. In the team competition they were clear winners , with the nearest team to RSCAC, Birchfield, finishing 9 points behind.
