The senior men win promotion back to the Midlands top flight
A great team effort by the senior men’s XC team at wet and windy Coundon Park saw them clinch promotion back to the 1st Division. There was also success for the B team, who won the B team league, and Ollie Harradence who won the trophy for 3rd best individual.
On the day the standout performances came from Steve Marklew, Chris Taylor and Tom Chew. Steve had his best run for at least 3 years and was our third counter home. Chris and Tom have both improved throughout the year and were our 5th and 6th counters.
A big thankyou to Phil Pollock and Megan Evans who braved the cold to help us with Team Management and officiating duties and to our little band of supporters. Your support is much appreciated.
