It was great to see so many royals at the County Champs this weekend. We have at least 13 Warwickshire County Champions. We also had a multitude of medalists and a number of Club Records.
Very well done to everyone who took part. There were so many great performances.
A special mention to Isabel Male who won the u15 girls’ 200m in 25.59, which was not only a Club Record, but also a County Champs record!
In other news, Muninder Singh Hayer has broken the 1500m Race Running World Record by 56 seconds! Before his race he was the only athlete in the world to run under 10 minutes. Yesterday he ran 8.56.2 – phenomenal!
A great start to the season for RSCAC seniors, who finished third in their first meeting of the season. A massive well done to everyone who competed today. There were so many top three finishes and many athletes did extra events to add to the overall points total.
Here is a photo of the competitors who stayed till the end, with their fans. Apologies to those who missed the photo. (A special mention to Kevin Brown who was busy winning the discus event when this was taken!)

Well done to everyone who competed today. There were so many PBs, first, seconds and thirds.
And a massive thank you to all the team managers, officials, helpers and cake makers!
Final results will be published soon.
Well done to all of the RSCAC youngsters who competed yesterday in sunny Stoke.
There were so many individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes as well as many PBs.
Everyone played their part to secure a second place finish overall. What a start to the season!
Thanks to all team managers, officials, parents and carers for giving up their Saturday.
Good luck to all the u13s and u15s competing at Stoke tomorrow – our first inter club competition of the summer athletics season. Here’s hoping the sun keeps shining and there are many golden performances.

A massive well done to everyone who turned up to compete in their first track and field fixture of the year. There were so many PBs!
Is anyone available to help at our Club Champs on Saturday at Wyndley please? 10.30am – 4.30pm or any time between 9.00am and 5.00pm to include set up and packing away.
If you have even a few hours to spare, please comment below or email rscac@hotmail.co.uk
The Club Champs is many of our younger athletes’ first ever competition. We need more helpers to make the events run smoothly. We especially need people to help time keep and others to put the competitors in order at the end of races.
You will be paid generously with an officials’ lunch of sandwiches, crisps, fruit and unlimited tea, coffee and water!
