West Midlands Schools Athletics

Good luck to all the athletes competing at this schools event at the Alexander Stadium on Saturday.

There are many RSCAC athletes taking part, trying to finish in the top two in their event to be selected to represent West Mids Schools at the Mason Trophy on Saturday 16th June.

Seniors Finish in Second Place

At the second Senior League competition of the season, the RSC seniors finished in second place. This was due to an excellent team performance with many PBs and equal PBs. Well done everyone!

Here’s a photo of all the team members who were able to stay until the bitter end.

What a Weekend!

It was great to see so many royals at the County Champs this weekend. We have at least 13 Warwickshire County Champions. We also had a multitude of medalists and a number of Club Records.

Very well done to everyone who took part. There were so many great performances.

A special mention to Isabel Male who won the u15 girls’ 200m in 25.59, which was not only a Club Record, but also a County Champs record!

In other news, Muninder Singh Hayer has broken the 1500m Race Running World Record by 56 seconds! Before his race he was the only athlete in the world to run under 10 minutes. Yesterday he ran 8.56.2 – phenomenal!
