A Life Membership – what a wonderful surprise! I thought I’d take this opportunity to appeal to some of you to come along and help us keep our family-friendly, competitive club running smoothly.
As well as being an athlete and coach, I am a member of the club committee, an official and a team manager. On this note, the club always needs officials for meetings to go ahead, and as the club gets points for providing them, officials are vitally important. So if you would be happy to do a one day officials course and help out at some meetings in the summer, please leave your details at the coffee bar. The same goes for team managing and coaching.
If you think you could volunteer your services for our lovely athletics club, please leave your details behind the coffee bar and myself or another committee member will get back to you. Who knows….you might be collecting your silver ‘Life Membership’ plate one day in the future!
Many thanks,
Meg Evans

  1. As my parents are\were Life members and AAA timekeepers.Pat & Joe Sutton. I wonder if their old stopwatches would be of any use to the club. Pat is still living in Sutton, and in helping tidy I have sorted out the timepieces. Two fully functional and 2 requiring batteries. They were AAA regulated at the time. Let me know. Graham Sutton

    1. Yes that would be fantastic. I know pat would want her watch to go to a good home. If you could bring them to the club any Tuesday or Thursday six till eight that would be great. We can pass them on accordingly. Or if this isn’t possible please email rscac@hotmail.co.uk and we’ll arrange for someone to collect them from you. Thanks.
