Birmingham XC League – 7 December

Posted: December 9, 2013 by RSCAC in Race reports

More great results from the weekend, with the senior men putting in a strong performance at muddy Burbage Common. The A team finished 3rd and the B team won the B team race.

Everyone ran superbly and it was great to have another strong turnout with 18 runners competing.  Ollie Haradence had a great run to finish in 4th place, whilst Chris Taylor and Tom Chew also ran particularly well, improving significantly on their placings in the 1st race.  Well done everyone!

Thanks to Phil Pollock for helping with the officiating and to our small band of supporters who cheered us on in the cold. Your support is much appreciated.

The results are available on the Birmingham XC website.

Nick finished 10th after trying for a shortcut earlier on in the race, which ended up being a cul-de-sac.

Simon finished 50th, an improvement of 5 places on the last fixture.
