Club records

Check out the Performance section of the site (click here), where we now have copies of all our club records.  Are there any you can aim to smash this season?!!!

If you are a club member and believe that you have a record, but it isn’t listed on the club record page, please contact rscac@hotmail.co.uk with details of your performance.  Please note that for a performance to be a club record it must be done at a recognised event with qualified time keepers/officials.

Have a good weekend….good luck to anyone competing.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish our members a Happy New Year and every success in 2012.  In this Olympic year let us show people and other clubs how muchtalent Royal Sutton Coldfield Athletics Club has.  The fantastic results from the recent Warwickshire and Staffordshire County cross country races are certainly proof of thegreat athletes and coaches we have at the club. I look forward to an exciting and successful year and hope you all achieve your dreams.

Best wishes,

100 club Christmas prize draw winner

The winner of the 100 club Christmas prize draw was Ruth Dobbins.  The draw was for one ball only with a prize of £100 – well done Ruth!

The 100 club has been running since the 1990s, during which time it has raised valuable funds for the club.  If you’re interested in joining, for an annual fee of £16.20 you will be entered into four draws during the year (March, July, November and December).  There are currently 44 balls that have been allocated which means the odds of winning aren’t too bad!  Further details are available here.  Alternatively please speak to Phil Pollock or ask for details at the coffee bar.
