Congratulations to Katie Ingle who has been selected to represent GB U20s in the steeplechase at the prestigious Loughborough International Athletics match this Sunday. This follows some fantastic performances by Katie on both the track and country. She will be competing against Loughborough Past and Present, England, Scotland, Wales and British Students. Royal Sutton takes on the London Marathon
On Sunday fifteen Royal Sutton athletes will be competing in the London Marathon. This is the largest ever contingent of runners from the club to run in the event.
Warwickshire County Championships – 25/26 May
Entries to the Warwickshire County Championships are now open (the closing date is 11 May). These are taking place on 25/26 May at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium, Leicester. Tuesdays 5-6pm training for 7-9 year olds cancelled
Tuesdays (26 March) 5-6pm training session for 7-9 year olds has been cancelled due to the ice and snow. Training for all other athletes is still going ahead at this stage. Please consult directly with your coach if you have any queries.

New officials needed!
If any athletes, parents or supporters are interested in becoming a track and field official there are a couple of courses coming up at the Alexander Stadium – a level 1 course on 9 March and a level 2 course on 20 March. It’s a great way to get involved and support the club. If you’re interested please speak to Katie Jennings.

We’re collecting Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. Help us get some new equipment – bring your vouchers down to the clubhouse and put them in the box at the coffee bar.
