Posted: April 24, 2018 by RSCAC in Race reports

A fantastic effort by our brave marathon runners at the weekend. All five runners made it home safely in great times:

  • Barry Lloyd – 2.52.51
  • Matt Powell – 3.26.41
  • Paul Baker – 3.55.35
  • Dean Lucas – 4.00.15
  • Clive Hackforth – 4.00.52

Well done Barry, Matt, Paul, Dean and Clive!!!

Well done to all of the RSCAC youngsters who competed yesterday in sunny Stoke.

There were so many individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes as well as many PBs.

Everyone played their part to secure a second place finish overall. What a start to the season!
Thanks to all team managers, officials, parents and carers for giving up their Saturday.

Help at Club Champs Needed on Saturday

Posted: April 5, 2018 by megsamaniac in Uncategorized

Is anyone available to help at our Club Champs on Saturday at Wyndley please? 10.30am – 4.30pm or any time between 9.00am and 5.00pm to include set up and packing away.

If you have even a few hours to spare, please comment below or email

The Club Champs is many of our younger athletes’ first ever competition. We need more helpers to make the events run smoothly. We especially need people to help time keep and others to put the competitors in order at the end of races.

You will be paid generously with an officials’ lunch of sandwiches, crisps, fruit and unlimited tea, coffee and water!
