Whether you are looking to join a competitive athletics club or simply get fit and meet new people, we are always keen to welcome new members. We cater for all ages and abilities, from 8 upwards.
We offer sessions in all track and field events (although high jump is seldom offered during the winter months). Throughout the summer there is a comprehensive competition schedule. During the winter we have an indoor Sportshall athletics league for athletes in Year 5 – Year 10.
We have an established distance running section, with groups catering for both competitive and social runners. Our competive runners compete throughout the year in track, road and cross country events.
Children can start at age 8 (in our induction group from 5pm – 6pm on Tuesdays in term time). All other ages are catered for in club training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm – 8pm. Some groups also meet on Sunday mornings from 10am – midday.
With a variety of groups to choose from, if you or your child is interested in joining us, the best thing to do is to come to the club on a Tuesday or Thursday at 6pm and see the various groups in action.

Our training fees are £2 for adults and £1.50 for juniors.

Our membership fees are as follows:
- Adult – new member £65 (includes voucher for club vest); renewal £54
- Senior Citizen – new member £58 (includes voucher for club vest); renewal £47
- 16-20 – new member £51 (includes voucher for club vest); renewal £40
- Under 16 and students in full time education – new member £46 (includes voucher for club vest); renewal £35
- 2nd Claim – £37
- Associate – £15
- Family – 15% off total price

Membership fees are paid annually and are due on 31 March (the membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March). Any new joiners will pay a prorata membership from the date of joining.
